Last weekend Babineau's Billiards hosted one of the largest US Open qualifiers we have in the area. A 64-man field played, with Mike Fuller, Jimmy Faircloth and David Brown winning spots to play in the big tourney. Browns is having a qualifier in September(date not set yet) and Play 2 Win is having an "APA" only qualifer on September 1.
Is this a good idea?
Are you interested in playing for US OPEN spots?
Personally, I love them, and, love to see the really good players perform.

I really like the idea of having an APA only event. I enjoyed the little bit of time that I was in Paul's tournament, but I didn't like the fact that he brought ringers in so to speak. I would not have played if I had known that ahead of time. I thought it was for people that play at Babineau's only...which includes Robert Ray - who was not invited. I plan to play at Robert's.
FYI, if you want to see the finalists from the last U.S. Open Qualifier that was held at Babineau's, you can view them here at RDUPhoto.com
