Me, Myself, and Second Place

Congratulations are in order for Jim Badger. Jim won a singles board at Babineau's Billiards Monday night; by beating a 9 in the final - Jim is a skill level 6. Drew Johnston was tippsy in the semi-final and somehow Jim was able to beat him, by playing like a solid 2. Jim saved the best for last and destroyed Dave Baranski in the final. The score would have been 18-2 if it had been a league play match.
The disturbing part is that Dave is one of the best players in the area but somehow has finished second in three straight singles boards. Paul Allan nipped Dave in the last one.
No need to fear the worst for Dave, he will win a board and will do us all proud at the Regional level.

Yup, it's true - Jim played awesome and beat me to death.

Makes we want to stop giving lessons - students are starting to kick my ass....

It is a good idea to throw the little guys a bone once in a while. makes them thinks they have a chance against you all the time.
