It's hot as hell out there!
Pulling my pool stick out of my case makes me sweat. I broke in a match last night and my cue almost slipped out of my hand. Of course, I made three low balls and ran the rack for my 300 break-n-run of the session.
My point, it's hard to think straight when it's this hot. I remember last year when the heat was on and I went to the grocery store to pick up some ice cream for my grandmother, who loved strawberry with chocolate sauce ... wait ... what was my point. Oh ya, this darn heat. How do we make our pool game better?
I suggest we move pool tables into the parking lots, wear bikinis and thongs to play matches. Being too hot won't be a problem then.
You tell me.

I agree!I'll wear my blue thong!Really though,it's tough to keep your mind right with the heat.My way of keeping my mind focused on the game is saying to myself "Well,it could be hotter".Seriously, keep your hands washed and wipe you cue down with a very lightly moistened cloth or paper towel and buff it dry with a dry one.Don't leave it wet to air dry because it may cause a slight warp. And secretly on really hot days I don't wear any Underwear.(Don't tell anyone that one)
Over 3 months and not a blog in sight. SLACK! No wonder I have been losing matches recently. :P
