There will be 8 teams competing for the spot at Play 2 Win Billiards, off hwy 70, starting Friday night.
Stop by and check out the action.

After the long emotional weekend you think teams would grow up and leave the drama out of the pool hall.
I understand how much emotion runs through each and everyone of us during this city tournament but does it always have to end up with the name calling and bad sportsmanship? The captains of teams storming out with no words to their teams? To players always trying to place the blame on others and not on the team as a whole? And we wonder why we can't keep enough teams together to keep it around. The answer is obvious to me. If you think about it, this is the only tournament where there is so much cut throat and all-around bad attitudes. Never do you see such crap at an all male tournament or even in co-ed tournaments. Is it only when we get together as one that we have to show that we are truly like the cliches' that are talked about?
If so, then how can we participate in a ladies tour as we have last year and started again this year without all the drama and back-stabbing. Is it so different? It just doesn't make sense to me and in honesty I find it an embarrasment. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the tears and disappointment but must we always take it to such extremes?
